SO DIM 2 is a pvc, feather edge trim used to finish the raw, exposed edge of resilient floorcoverings and provide a safe transition to the sub-floor.

Suitable for use with resilient floorcoverings 2mm thick.

Typically used at the junction with terazzo or stone floors.

Installation

  SO DIM 2 feather edge trim should be allowed to acclimatise for 24 hours prior to installation at an ambient temperature of 18o Celsius.

  1. It should be ensured that all surfaces to which the profile is to be fixed are dry, flat and free from any contaminants.
  2. Cut the SO DIM 2 to the size required.
  3. Apply a proprietary contact adhesive to the underside of the SO DIM 2 and the floor
  4. Allow the adhesive to become touch dry.
  5. Abutt the SO DIM 2 up to the installed resilient floorcovering and firmly press into the adhesive
